Wednesday, November 5, 2014. We had our final ultrasound yesterday afternoon to check the location of my placenta. Back on week 20 of this pregnancy, we had been told that the placenta was too close to the 'baby chute' for baby to be born naturally and on the baby's schedule. So, we've been watching it ever since via ultrasound to see if it had grown out of the way. Thursday, July 11, 2013. Tim's Birthday celebration started with happy hour and dinner on Friday night with 15 closest, fun friends & little stroll through Kansas City's Power and Light District. Saturday, July 6, the day he turned 40, was a nice day of resting and enjoying our family time at home. Tim smoked some delicious ribs and Caleb made Dad a delicious Lemon Meringue pie for dessert. He was welcomed by Mommy, Daddy, Big brothers, Caleb and Josiah and Big Sister, Samantha. His weight was 8 lbs 7 oz and he measured 23" long. It's no mystery why mommy's tummy was so large, carrying all 23" of this baby boy. Smiling for the camera. Daddy, back to poopy diapers. All 23" of his height, sticking out of the baby blanket. We had a pleasant surprise when getting off of our airplane in Denver. Dayton B, a long-time friend, was our pilot. Then, at Budget rental, we ran into Scotty. Fowler. This is the guy (one of the two) who introduced me to Bill. And yet another surprise. snow? We headed straight to the mall in Aurora for some winter coats! Then it was down to Colorado Springs.

The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. Once the winds stopped, the sun came out and revealed a winter wonderland out my backdoor. I had to venture out and experience the snow packed trails. Gorgeous! After a short walk, I decided it was too nice to enjoy by myself. So, I made a quick call to my sister and Andrew was on his way over. 160;with sled in hand. We found the perfect sledding hill! What a great time we had! And what is better than sledding? 160;Sitting in the snow taking it all in.

The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. One of our favorite times of the year is Hunting Season. You can guarantee that around July / August we are washing camoflauge in scent-free detergent, tuning our bows, and making plans to head to the mountains. I actually had several close encounters this year and came close to getting the bull of my dreams. How close? 160;Let's just say that I will dream about the 6x7 bull I had in my sights at 5 yards for a while. Don't ask how I missed! Yep, I cried the next day.

The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. Last weekend we went camping / fishing with some friends. I love getting away for the weekend because it usually means sleeping in. The only items on our agenda were fishing, soaking in the sun, fishing, grilling, fishing and more fishing. Did I mention fishing? The JOY of the Lord is my Strength. For part of our spring vacation this year, we brought our bikes to Laughlin for the motorcycle River Run. 160;It was a sunny ride up from Lake Havasu City. The road along the banks of the Colorado river provided a wonderful route with scenic views along the way. Once we got to Laughlin, it was time to relax, do a little shopping, and soak in the sun! On the way to Laughlin, we stopped at the Topock Marina. Some of the fabulous bikes on display. Who is up for a cruise?
