Saturday, February 25, 2012. Josie really loves birds! Josie is sitting on Betty's shoulders in order to look out the window at the birds. The birds were really hanging around this day- a few days later we made bird feeders- and they have not been back! Purposeful Playing and Walking Home. We all went to the park last week, before the 6 inches of snow fell. I'm not sure if it is just her jacket, but she looks so determined in all of her efforts at the park and on the way home. Friday, November 21, 2014. Maggie chose to do gymnastics for her 2 month activity trial (we have started letting the older ones choose an activity to do - one at a time - for a few months) Then we don't have a lot of running around and they get to try a number of new things. We recently decided to let the kids try out some classes and Jackson chose Parkour (also called free running). I call it unstructured gymnastics for boys - there is lots of running, jumping, flipping and doing tricks off of things in your environment (like walls). He loves it. Links to this post. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Hailey's birthday is at the beginning of August. We were lucky enough to have of our MD friends here visiting so they celebrated her birthday with us. That was great because she was sad that she left all of her friends behind and couldn't invite them to her birthday. All of the girls got together and came up with elaborate party plan for her. It was very sweet. She loved it! See Caleb's fangs in his picture? He has pretty big canines :). In the swimming pool.

Saturday, December 14, 2013. The TREE is up. Hailey is playing with our two Lego Advent calendars. They LOVE these. Caleb and Hailey will play with them for an hour each day when we open new doors. A little hard to keep track of all the Lego pieces though. They are fairly well trained to keep them right with the calendar boxes. :). Amanda and Robbie 2. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. These pictures were taken in the studio at the beginning of February or May - the kids love to show off for me and make goofy faces. I just wish I could get them all dressed up and do nice photo's. You can't tell but Canyon is only in a t-shirt and underwear and under the apron Kendall is wearing her P.J.'s. It has been way too long. I have waited way too long to update my blog and now will probably inundate you all with the last year of pictures :).
