Throughout the year America’s Gold Star Families hosts several events in which our heroes are honored through remembrance and survivors can connect with others who have faced similar loss. Our ultimate goal is to provide ongoing emotional and psychological support. Our annual Commemoration is held the first week end in October. During this ceremony we have a special speaker followed by the Yellow Rose Ceremony. Brunch is provided after the ceremony.

Our 2015 budget is $30,000.00 and we operate on donations from individuals or corporate sponsorships. Checks can be made payable to Gold Stars. Founder/President Patti Smith is available to speak to your organization and has a message for civic clubs, churches, schools, etc. Freedom is not free therefore the message applies to each of us. Today to make arrangements to have a presentation given to your group.
