Saturday, September 3, 2011. End of Summer Tomato Sauce. My friend Amanda gave me tomatoes from her work at the last minute the other day. I couldn't possibly eat them all, so I decided that I should try making some tomato sauce from them. So here is what I did. The Tomatoes- Came sliced. Quartered- Nothing added (blended until pureed). Pressed th sauce through a sieve to keep all the seeds out. Cooked the sauce on low overnight, I. Probabley could have done it in less time. So there you are!

http://thecreativechica.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Today I thought I would post on some really cool nail designs and products. I've been playing around a lot with nail stamping and with water slip decals. They just give nails that extra pizazz. So let's get right to it. The Nail Stamps I use are from all over the place, Born Pretty, Bundle Monster and Gals. This color is Go Girl by Gelish and topped with Light Elegant by Gelish. Aren't these pretty soft decals? Here is the coupon if you would like to use it. Any way I am growing o...

The Creative Chica: February 2015

Friday, February 27, 2015. I have also see someone on the internet, I think she goes by the frugal crafter. She uses glycerin to juice up pads that are drying out. Here are my swatch samples. The three whites that I have I decided to stamp on black card stock and adhere it to this chart. As you can see Colorbox has a nice white. I hope this helps you in figuring out how to do your own swatches. I think it'll be very helpful in my projects and in buying inks in the future. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Creative Chica: August 2012
http://thecreativechica.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Today I decided to redo the ceiling fan in my dining room. It started out as a gross yellow brass color. I had been doing some looking around on line for a color that would look classy and sleek. I found this color at the Home Depot it was under $8. I think that was a great price for the Major. Change in my ceiling fan. I enlisted the help of my tall and sweet cousin. He took it down for me and disassembled all the parts and put it back up after it was all done.

If anyone has newspapers in another language I would love to get a page! I will send you a few tags in trade. This set is the same set, but a better picture. The on the right.

The Creative Chica: December 2012
http://thecreativechica.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 30, 2012. Well Christmas is over and now we are getting ready for the new year! Here is something I worked on over the holidays. Here's how I made this:. 1) I bought the fleece at 1 1/4 yards. I bought a special rotary blade called a slipstitch blade. It perforates the fabric. 2) I washed and dried my fabric, cut the fabric to size. 4) I left about a 4 inch opening on one side when I sewing it. That way I could turn it right side out and slip stitch the edge closed. I found it to be inte...

Tuesday, September 23, 2014. I decided it was time to post a Fall Nails post. I was watching one of my Youtube girls video. Her name is Raquel and Her Vlog on Youtube is Love4nails. She always does an amazing job. If you love nail art, you should check her Youtube channel out. Now I was inspired by a set of nailart she had done on herself, but I wanted to do a more fall theme, so here is my version. Here are the colors I used:. I used these 2 acrylic paints, although I don't think they show up very well.
