The ArtWrite exhibition at Croydon Clock Tower was the result of a collaboration between Poets Anonymous, a Croydon based poets’ group, and several local and London artists working across different media. The poems written for the exhibition were inspired by works of art, with the poems themselves acting as a basis for new works of art to be created and exhibited, including this installation by Ana Antonio Gill. The installation consisted of a series of interventions centred on the theme of sustainability, and invited the public to contrast humankind’s impact on the environment with that of nature’s.
