Travels with our Blog. Agra – The Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal at dawn. Whilst in Agra we stayed at another homestay, Bansi. Which was terrific. Mr Burman, who runs it, is a wonderful host, and his staff make delicious breakfasts and dinners ( see my TA review. Anyway our tour has ended on a significant high. All that is left is to clear up Jess’ stuff, see a few more sights in Delhi, and then head home. A strange feeling after 6 months away (a year for Jess). Feed You can leave a response. Back to the heat and humidity; but luckily also to an air-conditioned hotel, albeit one with immensely obsequious staff, which probably goes down well with the Indian middle-classes. The advertised ‘rooftop infinity pool’ turned out to be ‘under construction’ but given the weather it would have felt like being gently poached. Travels with our Blog. November 27, 2017. New Orleans was to be our final big city stop so we pre-booked 3 nights at the KOA New Orleans West. We had two full days exploring New Orleans and just wandered around or used our $3 all day tram ticket to take us a little further out. Both days had to start with wonderful coffee and beignets at Cafe du Monde. And fine ales at Crescent City Brewhouse. On our second day we ventured further afield and really enjoyed the Backstreet Cultural Museum. November 25, 2017.
