Oh, Canada!: Beauséjour: Beautiful Place to Live
http://silvergenes-canada.blogspot.com/2013/04/beausejour-beautiful-place-to-live.html
Celebrating the people and places all across this great nation. Monday, April 22, 2013. Beauséjour: Beautiful Place to Live. Old cars left to nature's care near Beauséjour. Photo: ©2013 Alexandra Lucas. The town of Beauséjour, with or without the accent, is directly translated from the French as beautiful place to live. The scent of jackpine is in the air and there are places to explore that leave you feeling as if you've stepped into a painting by Tom Thompson. Is it really that cold in the winter?

Celebrating the people and places all across this great nation. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. CETA: Dancing with the Devil? And this puzzles me. Let's look at Nestlé. Celebrating the people and places all across this great nation. Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Politics can make me crazy so I like to take time out to remember what is important. In this case, it's Canada. Yesterday was Canada Day and to mark the occasion, I uploaded the first batch of photos taken across the country and across the decades. You can see them here. Posted by Alexandra Lucas. Oh, Canada!: September 2011

Celebrating the people and places all across this great nation. Saturday, September 17, 2011. Mid-September on the Canadian prairies is gentle this year. The temperatures are warm during the day and cool enough at night to make sleeping comfortable and a fire welcome. September has always meant a time of new beginnings for me; a new school year, new books, new paper, new ideas, and a great new scarf. This year is no different except for the slower pace.
