Sunny Days Are Here Again. Monday, September 7, 2009. Labor Day weekend at the Nye Ranch. Kelly and Nava enjoying the sun on the deck at the NYE! One of the lamas at the Nye relishing in what I love to do best, ENJOY THE SUNSHINE! Chris found a cave at the beach and was in cave HEAVEN! What a great bike ride along the ocean. Thanks, Pat for getting all the bikes in working order. I loved it! Our midnight trek to the beach on a FULL moon. It was SO beautiful! Sunset looking out over the deck at the NYE.

Always A Good Thing. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Had the best time this summer at Sailing Camp. The teacher was great, the weather was perfect. Perfect activity for boys - captains of their own "ships". What a gift to have someone else to mentor them. I even shot a gun too. My hands were shaking sooo bad, but I really liked it. I guess there just isn't any hope of tea parties and shopping in this family! What an awesome thing to be able to do. I KNOW those boys of your were in gun heaven! House, M.D.

Always A Good Thing. Monday, September 21, 2009. Tuesday, September 8, 2009. We got to hear our good friends' daughter sing this weekend at a Honky Tonkin festival at Scotty's Landing on Sunday. She was great as usual. She just belts it out and talks to her audience and amazes everyone cause she's only 17 but already a rising star! It was fun and a huge eye opener since I'd never been on River Road on Labor Day weekend. I've seen it in the paper and all the arrests and such but wow! Revenge of the Robot.
