Happy Devil's Night ya'll! Did you know that's strictly a Michigan term? I never realized that until I moved down here and found that most people have never heard of that term before. If anything, they've heard of Mischief Night being the night before Halloween, but even then, it's not considered dangerous in most areas. I honestly hadn't realized that and always assumed it was a nation-wide caution night filled with vandalism and crime. Yay for growing up near Detroit! I think he sums it up pretty well.

Here's the jist of my weekend:. Went to see "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940". Went to Meg O'Malleys. Drank some mixed drink that was mostly rum; smiled a lot; hugged people; laughed loudly. Got up crazy early. Beer at the Pig and Whistle. Went to see "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Was de-virginized onstage (see post-show photo in buddy icon). Slept in (thank God! Got phone call that work was canceled on Monday due to hurricane. Went to "Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol" auditions. Slept in again (yay!

Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield. Tuesday, October 09, 2007. Hooray for Long Weekends! Tonight marks the end of our long-awaited October break. This four-day weekend actually cost me two vacation days, but because I had no classes and Dan had the time off, I thought it would be worth it. None of them did. except for spending time with friends. That's not to say we didn't do anything over break! I got about 12 hours of sleep a night (clearly my regular sleep schedule just isn't cutting it!
