Blue and I decided to download it to our ipods but when we listened to other selections off her CD, we had to get the whole thing. A beautiful young woman with a message of grace.check it out for yourself! Thursday, July 24, 2008. Monday, July 21, 2008. Delusions. Does anyone else suffer from those? It is time for a whole n...

The Barefoot Seamstress: September 2008
http://barefootseamstress.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 20, 2008. A dear friend emailed this to me today. It is a blogworthy piece of writing for sure. It all began to make sense; the blank stares, the lack of response, the way one of the kids will walk into the room while I'm on the phone and ask to be taken to the store. Inside I'm thinking, 'Can't you see I'm on the phone? Some days I am only a pair of hands, nothing more: Can you fix this? Can you tie this? Can you open this? I'm a car to order, 'Right around 5:30, please.'. A legendar...

Thursday, February 19, 2009. Hey friends - I have started another blog. Yes - I am crazy - thanks for asking! It is all part of my attempt to use the "free" aspects of the internet to shamelessly promote my business. So it is specifically a sewing blog to post pictures, prices, etc. for Cinde Exclusives. It will link from my website so those who are interested can find out more info about my work. You can check it out here. Wednesday, February 18, 2009. The Barefoot Seamstress: June 2008
http://barefootseamstress.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Preparing to Pray with Compassion. Children are often fed at the Compassion centers but that is not their only focus...

The Barefoot Seamstress: August 2008
http://barefootseamstress.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. A Gold Medal Mom. I, along with the rest of the world, am completely taken with Michael Phelps. Not because of the eight gold medals, the billions of dollars in endorsements, or even the muscles.I am taken with him because he loves his mom. And he's not afraid to tell the world that he loves his mom and she returns in kind here. As a mother of two boys, I treasure that relationship and I think Debbie Phelps has a great philosophy. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. It looks like someone...

The Barefoot Seamstress: October 2008
http://barefootseamstress.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Yep - I'm just as sick of it all as you are. Sick of getting the emails warning of conspiracy and terrorism. Sick of the TV ads and biased media reports. This election and all the hoopla, hearsay, and heresy are enough to drive one to pull her own hair out by the handfuls.if that is where we are placing our hope. Check out Shaun's post. Regarding this very idea. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Well since I'm here and on a roll - I'll just do another post. Here are Min and Dan.

The Barefoot Seamstress: Permission to Nag??
http://barefootseamstress.blogspot.com/2009/01/permission-to-nag.html
Thursday, January 15, 2009. My parents stayed with us a couple of nights this week while they were participating in some activities at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. My house is only about 30 minutes away, cheaper than a hotel, plus their grandchildren live here.might be a bonus? I said, "Dad, do you realize that the acronym for Nudging And Guidance is NAG? We had a big chuckle over that one and then I generously thanked him for the permission! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
