The other night, Cory and I went out to dinner, and were surrounded by other couples, many who appeared to be on first or second dates. Watching the lovely awkward-ness unfold, we got joking about our worst first date stories. I don't mean to brag.but I won. Buster Keaton films.are silent films. This guy got the "acoustic sweet spot". For a silent film.

I haven't had a land line phone in years, and let's face it, I'm not the only one. We all live and breath by our cell phone. And most of the time this is fine.it's always with you in emergencies, it makes it easy for people to keep in contact with you anywhere, etc. Cell phones are great.until you leave yours at your boyfriends house.

Thanksgiving morning Dave got in some football and ultimate frisbee while I dressed kids and then took them to watch for a little while. Taylor and I raced around the field about 10 times, so I got my exercise too. Drew was having a hard day so he got to race with me. I raced Taylor with Drew in my arms, that is a good workout, awkward but good. It was a wonderful holiday. I love being with family and that is what we got to do.

When I married my husband I was a little worried he would never be able to fix anything around the house or the vehicles or any tools we owned. He just wasn't the handy man type. He is so smart and always willing to help. He loves his siblings and is so great with them. He can get Logan to smile anytime. I learned a lot about preparing our home and yes I did stess a little. After all the stress, freezing a lot of water and filling the bathtub, we were forunate enough to have no problems from the hurricane. With all the talking of the hurricane, Taylor decided to do his part. He made this fort for Drew and Lana. It was so cute.
