Journey to the "green and gold". Sunday, December 2, 2007. We made it home at last, it took us 6 days! I was able to do around half of the driving which I think Jens appreciated. We certainly will NOT be going back north the way we come! At times in Queensland (their roads are pretty tired) we were down to 50km/ hr! Journey to the "green and gold". Thursday, February 22, 2007. Hello everyone, I hope that you are all happy and well out there! We have been happily feasting on fresh seafood most nights and are enjoying it, I have had to pull out my seafood recipes. Yesterday Jens and I purchased a boogie board each. We have a long way to go to be up there with the professionals, however, it is a lot of fun trying! I have to my surprise found it very invigorating and beneficial! So that has become a daily ritual now.

Journey to the "green and gold". Friday, April 27, 2007. Hmm, I am slipping again on my blog entries, one of my great friends in the USA reminded me to get back here, thanks E! Well, it has taken us 6 months and now we are in QUEENSLAND! It has been quite a target of ours since we started our journey, so now we need to decide a new target! I have a really sensitive nose, and I have to say that the air smells funny here! Jens has figured out the crops now, we have hit; Bananas, pineapples, and sugar cane.
