Doodle it Up!: 30 minute doodle
http://doodleitup.blogspot.com/2010/10/30-minute-doodle.html
A Place for not so serious ART. Sunday, October 10, 2010. I can't believe how I have let this blog fall apart.:(. A thought about doodling. Doodling is a relaxing activity. It is about feeling the pen or pencil glide across the paper, playing with the visual elements without the pressure of producing something that is conventionally accepted. Isn't that the goal of creating great art too. It seems only natural that the process start with a doodle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Play the doodle game!

Doodle it Up!: Tiny Bubbles...
http://doodleitup.blogspot.com/2010/02/tiny-bubble.html
A Place for not so serious ART. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Mix it up a little! Switch your writing implement a few time during your doodle. In this little doodle I used, pencil, black felt tip marker, black ball point pen and colored pencils. Also mix up your technique. For example use different shading techniques like the tiny bubbles to create a gray value or the smooth blending with a pencil. Labels: ball point pen. February 3, 2010 at 10:06 PM. Love seeing your work (or would this be play?

Doodle it Up!: January 2010
http://doodleitup.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
A Place for not so serious ART. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Birds of a Feather! Start with a large shape in the center of your paper. In this case, it is a leaf shape. This is my doodle inspiration. Begin doodling around and within that shape. The drawing will evolve from there. This was a quick doodle that took place while I was talking with my sister on the phone this morning. A Place for not so serious ART. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Use a writing implement that you love the feel of when you make a mark on the paper. This doodle was done with a sharp pencil:) The pencil would get dull and I would sharpen it again with an electric sharpener. NOTHING LIKE A SHARP PENCIL TO GET THE DOODLE JUICES FLOWING! Doodle it Up!: Doodle Bird
http://doodleitup.blogspot.com/2010/02/doodle-bird.html
A Place for not so serious ART. Friday, February 5, 2010. Grab a magazine for inspiration. Flip through the pages and find an object with an interesting shape(I flipped through a home decorating mag and found a picture of a framed bird print). Draw your object of interest and continue doodling around it. Make a decorative border and fill the negative space with shapes or an imaginary landscape. February 6, 2010 at 9:24 AM.
