December 26, 2011. 陽光靜靜地撒下，關閉的商店櫥窗貼著”Happy Holidays”，街上只有稀疏的路人來往，而我為了滿足一杯咖啡的渴望，擱下一桌混亂的paper，選在午後踏出家門。 仔細一想，過去二十年幾來總殷切期待聖誕節來臨究竟是為了什麼 這個節日對我而言並沒有宗教的意義，也不是家人團聚的時刻，剝去了這些包裝精美的外衣，我只看見商業利益和炒作 聖誕大餐、聖誕禮物、聖誕折扣、聖誕聖誕聖誕… 在台灣時，總是不會錯過這個被列為”情人三大節”之一的日子，總覺得聖誕節一定要和情人或朋友相聚、大肆慶祝、交換禮物卡片、提前訂一家餐廳享用當天特別昂貴的限定套餐，沒伴的人，也要聚集成去死團張揚聲勢。 初到Berkeley時，我總愛東張西望，一不小心就會對上他們的雙眼，那是閃爍著企求的眼神，對我呢喃著: “Spare some change.”，被那樣的眼神直視著，就猶如一面鏡子照著自己內心一般，映照出社會的成見。 8221;Happy Thanksgiving”，我們相互道賀著。 Ev’...

December 21, 2011. 或許是因隻身的緣故，四個月來，領略了許多前所未有的美好 和柏克萊學生一起Occupy Cal，走上街頭，重現當年學運的面貌 鑽進二手書店、唱片行，在音樂的帶領下，穿越時光走廊回到六零年代的嬉皮電報街 假日的陽光下，選個室外的座位，一面和朋友聊天，一面吃著美味的brunch 偶爾，盛裝打扮，附表演廳欣賞symphony, ballet, opera等各種藝術饗宴 當然，最常做的還是待在咖啡香氣瀰漫的環境中念上一會兒書，再心滿意足地踏著夕陽回家。 This entry was posted in Mind. January 28, 2012. 15學分 可不正好是台大所規定的每學期最低必修學分數嗎 不僅如此，各學院還規定每學期最高修習學分數，最高不可超過20.5學分 (資料來源 http:/ registrar.berkeley.edu/courseloadregs.html. 我偷偷看了一下在台大的修課紀錄，發現我再怎麼少一學期也修了6門課，最多還修過9門課…)修課數、學分數少，學生是不是都很輕鬆呢 不，一學分的課程意味著學生每週至少要花一小時的時間在該科目上(而且絕對是至少)，累積起來可是相當紮實的呢 繼續看下去，就會知道紮實在哪裡了. 再來，比起上完課之後就可以塵封課本到一週後再打開，每週多次接觸該科目，總是會比較快上手 試想 每天早上都要接觸一個小時西班牙文 和 一個禮拜接觸兩次、一次兩個半小時 ，多次接觸課程的安排，能夠營造出一個機會良多的學習環境。 謙虛內斂 在這樣的環境是不管用的，只有 大方表現 (而且是充滿內容的表現)才能幫助你和同學打成一片。 Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
