http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2012/11/one-track-mind-or-why-walter-lure-is.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. One Track Mind or Why Walter Lure is One of the Coolest Guys in Rock and Roll. Lanky-looking, with sharp features (the best eyebrows in the rock&roll biz! November 20, 2012 at 5:31 PM. After a long workday, that was really enjoyable. No wonder he caught your attention. So glad you were able to post a video to accompany your memories. The music is GREAT, but he just came off so cool. Thanks for sharing, Heather. The Last Drive In.

Mondo Heather: The Elvira 1986 Halloween MTV Special-The Music Video Review Edition-Part One
http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2009/08/elvira-1986-halloween-mtv-special-music.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. The Elvira 1986 Halloween MTV Special-The Music Video Review Edition-Part One. Don’t even get me started on Phil Collins. Siouxsie and the Volcano-An Image from "Cities in Dust". Lost son of Lux Interior and David Bowie? No, it's just Peter Murphy from Bauhaus! Hearing this song cut up like this does not come even close to satiating the average Bauhaus fan but it should be enough of a taster for the uninitiated. You be the judge.

Mondo Heather: Love Like Blood: Jorg Buttgereit's Nekromantik 2
http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2015/04/love-like-blood-jorg-buttgereits.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Love Like Blood: Jorg Buttgereit's Nekromantik 2. S sequel to his underground dark comedy/horror film, Nekromantik. But segueing I am! Of course if you actually read the title to this article, then you already knew where I was going with all of this. In that case, never mind.). Sequels are generally a bit of a creative gamble. Is it a crude way to lure in the rubes? Speaking of great music, one of my personal favorite scenes is ...

Mondo Heather: Escaping the Dog & Pony Show on Fury Road
http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2015/06/escaping-dog-pony-show-on-fury-road.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Monday, June 8, 2015. Escaping the Dog and Pony Show on Fury Road. It's intermission time and you are primed and ready. Smuggled in snack food? Check Overpriced soda the size of an old school Buick's headlight obtained officially on theater premises? Check Your eager film-going tocks firmly in place in your cush, stadium setting multiplex chair? Sad in its absoluteness. Note: I have no idea if that tie-in will happen, but would it surprise you? Hollywoods...

Mondo Heather: God, Murder & Palm Springs: Duke MItchell's Gone With the Pope
http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2015/05/god-murder-palm-springs-duke-mitchells.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Tuesday, May 5, 2015. God, Murder and Palm Springs: Duke MItchell's Gone With the Pope. His last and unfinished until recently masterwork, GONE WITH THE POPE. Going into the film, the main thing I knew about Duke Mitchell. Paul is not that type and from all accounts, neither was Duke Mitchell. 8221; “Why not? 8221; in the midst of a mob hit, but these two men are cut from that same, we're gonna do it anyhow cloth. The blending of the true-to-life lack...

Mondo Heather: February 2015
http://mondoheather.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Thursday, February 19, 2015. You're Either In or In the Way: Duke Mitchell's Massacre Mafia Style. His directorial debut was 1974's Massacre Mafia Style. Is a gut punch straight from the heart. What Duke Mitchell was able to do with both this film and its masterwork of a follow up, Gone With the Pope. 8221; His partner says “I got two.” Mimi replies, “Give them to him.” Jolly does just that, finishing the hit. Is not the best idea in the first place.

Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Saturday, August 8, 2015. The Carnival Closes and New Beginnings. When I started this blog a few years ago, the goal was to expound what I had been doing for assorted print magazines and webzines alike. Over time, that goal has remained steadfast, but in addition to that, it has helped bring some great connections in my life and hopefully converted the unconverted to film, literature and music worthy of love, attention and discourse. Delving into the Fringe Side of Sound and Vision. Saturday, October 5, 2013. Post-Apocalyptic American Dream: Rene Daalder's POPULATION 1. Back in 2011, I discovered a trailer for the then new release from Cult Epics. Of the great Rene Daalder's. Post-apocalyptic musical of sorts, POPULATION 1. This trailer was one of those magical moments where the tidbit you're given is so good, so electric that your heart races a little faster and you are absolutely compelled. POPULATION 1, in an age of hyper-scare ab...
