Bothered to update this so here goes: Look at the oscar. I think I got nearly all the big ones right, I'm glad I was wrong about Avatar winning best picture as Hurt locker is far superior. The most recent film that I've seen that has really stuck in my mind is one called Insomnia, by Chris Nolan of TDK. Set at all theres. Creepy vibe to the character.
