She is great at sitting up, but has no interest in rolling over. Sophia gives great "monkey" hugs - she wraps her arms around me and holds on tight. She loves to smile and laugh and "talk". Sights, Sounds, and Schnells. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. A Few House Observations. Our new dishwasher can't hold as many dishes as the old one at our old house. Is that a trend or did Ken just choose a quiet, but small dishwasher? I love our new gas stove/oven, but it definitely takes some getting used to. In the week we've lived here, Sophia has learned to come down stairs by herself. It worries me that she'll fall, but I love her independence. Sights, Sounds, and Schnells. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Last week was the Thornley Family Reunion. An event only held every 2-years. It's never long enough, and I always end up with a ton of pictures, but here are a few of my favorites. My brother Paul brought his rocket launcher (PVC pipe hooked up to an air compressor), and everyone made a paper rocket. Sunday, February 26, 2012. We took all of our balloons out to the cemetary and released them by Maree's grave. It never gets easier to not have her with us, but moments like this are comforting to help us connect with her and remember what an important part of our family she is. Maree truely is our angel!
