I have just returned from my very first visit to photograph the Lofoten Islands in Norway and all I can really say is what an incredible place. The landscape is breathtaking with the snow capped peaks in such close proximity to you. Another shot from sunrise at Loch Pityoulish last October, one of my favourite spots in the Cairngorms. I liked the contrast between the two banks of trees on either side of the loch. The mist had cleared the trees and reeds on the right and the sun was fighting to get through while the trees on the left were still shrouded in the dense morning mist.
