Faith, sweat and tears. Heading to higher places. May 14, 2014. The view coming into Cedar City, UT. I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was traveling. Cedar City is a very kid-friendly town with a surprising number of recreational things to do indoors and out. It is a tremendous career opportunity for me, and the boys are ecstatic about living near snowy mountains. I will be teaching classes in the MPA (Master of Public Administration) program, as well as standard political science courses. 🙂 ) As we ge...

Wowzers, another holiday and New Year has passed, time certainly does march on whether we like it or not! The holiday season found us with the college adults home, fun food preparation, a few quiet moments, and lots of laughter. I am thankful for every minute. An idea, a spark of a plan has been gnawing at the back of my mind for awhile, it is time to set it free.

All Content and Photos are the property of Lucky-Lizard-Ranch and may not be used without permission. March 26, 2012. The garden is coming along nicely! I think it is the prettiest, best garden we have ever had at this point. Gradually all the grass pathways are being covered with cardboard and pine needles (or hay or leaves), depending on what we have to work with. His senior pics are in, oh my goodness he is a grown young man! The piglets leave this weekend, what a relief! More peepers arrive in May, t...

Lucky Lizard Ranch: June 2013

All Content and Photos are the property of Lucky-Lizard-Ranch and may not be used without permission. June 29, 2013. The dog days of summer are definitely here. It's been at least 100'F every day this week, sigh. The good news is that the mosquito population is down, not-so-good news is that tomatoes stop setting fruit at 100'F. What is on the plants will continue to ripen, but we won't have any more new fruit until the temps drop (Sept-Oct if we can keep the plants alive). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Partytime has moved to LA to be the milker for a family farm- she has 7 kids to teach to milk! Her bon voyage was bittersweet, she is getting a great family and we will miss her! The very next day Natalie and I drove to Mississippi to meet up with Damon to pick up a bred jersey heifer, ButterCream. Butter is due to calve in April, and as of now Louise is a week past due. Argh! This is ...

Lucky Lizard Ranch: Time and Traditions
http://lucky-lizard-ranch.blogspot.com/2013/08/time-and-traditions.html
All Content and Photos are the property of Lucky-Lizard-Ranch and may not be used without permission. August 25, 2013. Time and traditions, they march on, they carry us. Dreaded August was actually spectacular in some ways. The ability to travel to see family and friends and talk, laugh and cry was amazing. Seasons, traditions, soon it will be fall and winter holidays, time will pass, children and grandchildren will grow; I do not regret it nor will I try to halt it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Cat is out of the bag. I now have a second blog, expressly for journaling and sharing my adventure into becoming more creative.
