http://vermontscrubnut.blogspot.com/2013/01/death-race-training-camp-1-26-hours-of.html
Tales of Trail and Ultra Running, Hiking Mountains, Death Races, and Mommying. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Death Race Training Camp #1- 26 Hours of FUN (and pain! 26 hours of continuous training for the Death Race! I had not been up that long since my daughter was an infant. :). I feel so happy. Tired but not horrible. Sore but I have felt worse. I want to get back out there again RIGHT NOW. Does this mean I get what the Death Race and what Andy and Joe are offering really means? It was amazingly FUN.

Down on “the Farm” 2014 – On the Rivet
https://jmcgill2.wordpress.com/2014/09/26/down-on-the-farm
September 26, 2014. December 3, 2014. Down on “the Farm” 2014. Ghent, Flanders, a Jerusalem in the holy land of cycling. For me it is another. Pilgrimage. Plenty of “racing around the church” here in September, tempting riders to flock in from other european countries for an end of the season fix. After a 4 year hiatus, was happily able to stay again at Staf Boone’s infamous “Farm” – an old school rooming house that has allowed countless English, Australian, American and Eastern E...By on the rivet.

Cuba paraíso para el ciclismo 2015 – On the Rivet
https://jmcgill2.wordpress.com/2015/03/14/cuba-training-paradise-2015
March 14, 2015. March 14, 2015. Cuba paraíso para el ciclismo 2015. So the whole family left from Montreal on February 21st bound for Villa Clara Province in Central Cuba. It was a wonderful trip and we discovered among other amazing things, a cycling paradise, due to the fact that very few Cubans own personal cars and the roads are very quiet and actually in many cases better paved than Vermont. Sunday in Ghent 2013 – On the Rivet
https://jmcgill2.wordpress.com/2013/09/23/sunday-in-paradise
September 23, 2013. September 29, 2014. Sunday in Ghent 2013. Auto free day in all the major belgian cities today. Police battalions cordoning off the entire city of Ghent, apparently the same thing in Brussels and Antwerp, as well! The perimeter laid around. Ghent was at least 15 km incircumference, through which no autos were allowed to enter the city. Festi als and thro gs of pedestrians took over the otherwise quiet peaceful streets creating a very relaxing and unique experience. By on the rivet.

More so than my other events. Why? Summary of the Games:. Sixth grade math was not happening when sleep deprived and tired! Then another ...

Vermont Scrubnut: Death Race Training Smackdown with Jordan
http://vermontscrubnut.blogspot.com/2012/12/death-race-training-smackdown-with.html
Tales of Trail and Ultra Running, Hiking Mountains, Death Races, and Mommying. Monday, December 10, 2012. Death Race Training Smackdown with Jordan. Ok, so why did I laugh for most of the time, on the hour, at the fact that Jordan and I were each carrying a full pack, 5 gallon bucket and a car tire for 15 miles from 9:30pm-4:30am? Because it is so damn ridiculous. But it was so awesome at the same time! Ok, so the yawning started about now. I got kind of tired going uphill with the tire, so Jordan wo...
