And he is alive and well in Chiapa de Corzo- Today I found a market that actually sells vegetables- the only one in town. its like Christmas only different! Hope you are all well and voted yesterday! My tech guy is an idiot, but he's working on it.check back. Thursday, October 26, 2006. Chiapa de Corzo: The Beginning. I woke up to fuegos (fireworks or firecrackers) at 7am this morning. It’s soooo loud here! I fed a crocodile with a local I met the other day which was crazy. I guess the ‘Romancing the Stone’ predications were correct! Its pretty cool-not temperature wise. It’s about 95 degrees with humidity over 100! And they don’t sell bug spray because the locals don’t get bitten here.
