Sunday, October 26, 2014. Woodland Tooth Fairy Pillow. D came home with a missing tooth recently! I was planning on whipping up her tooth fairy pillow when her first tooth got loose, so I was a bit unprepared by her sudden lost tooth. Thankfully the Tooth Fairy held off visiting D until I was able to get around to making her pillow. Here's how it turned out. I had been saving this fabric for something fun. A tooth fairy pillow fits the bill, don't you think? The small pocket in the front is for her tooth.

Monday, November 25, 2013. Teen Beach Movie Party. This summer D went nuts for the Teen Beach Movie. We have seen it. a lot. Naturally she requested a TBM birthday party! We had to make a tiki hut to serve as Big Mamma's for the food table. We made a frame using PVC pipe we had in the garage, a grass beach mat for the back, and cardboard and a grass skirt table skirt for the roof. Mini bunting for the tiki hut. I found a beach themed paper pack at Hobby Lobby for lots of details.. Paper ware from Walmart.

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Avika at Eleven Months. Avika has been home with us eleven months! She is so snugly and loves to cuddle. She especially loves when we take selfies snuggling up in bed or on the couch. The girl's got plenty of attitude! I think she was mad that the ice cream was all gone here. Avika is riding her scooter! She is trying to keep up with all the kids in the neighborhood on their bikes and scooters, but I make her stay in front of our house. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. For some reason it is inevitable that one or more of our kids are sick on Easter. A stomach bug was cycling through our house this week and Delia was pretty sick this day. She almost made it to church and was able to make it to our neighborhood egg hunt and our family backyard egg hunt. We kind of dyed eggs and had dinner with my parents. Whew! Thursday, July 09, 2015. We said goodbye to our dog, Mojo Corndog, last week. While he will not be missed by the people he bit, the cats he mauled, and the dogs he attacked, we loved him dearly (yes, even me despite all the barking and inescapable dog hair! Deciding it was time to put him down was unbelievably hard for us, the three oldest kids were heartbroken to say goodbye. He was a good dog to us and had a good life in the Bong Family. He is missed!
