Thursday, January 26, 2012. Happy Chinese New Year. It's the Year of the Dragon or something. Since it was Chinese New Year, on Sunday my mum thought it would be a good idea check out the festival in Springvale in 35. I was hoping I could eat a lot of festival food, but it was kinda on the expensive side.$5 for a small skewer of meat? Those Dippin' Dots cost 5 bucks as well, I only bought them because it was so hot. My mum bought this Vietnamese bread roll thing, it's called. I love Chinese New Year.

Saturday, June 30, 2012. It was Jess's birthday. Met up with Judie at Oakleigh Station, it's closer for both of us. Here are some of the prizes she won from an artist called Mall's competition, they're amaaaazing. You can see more of them on Judie's blog. And visit Mall's site. We all got there a bit early so we could ambush Jess. It didn't exactly go as planned. Oh and by "there" I mean the Botanical Gardens. Here's the birthday girl. We are so classy. Pleasant surprise waiting for my when I got home.

Sannie's housewarming / Judith's b'day! Celebrating two events today;. Sannie's housewarming - since she just moved to a new house. Judith's birthday - since Judith's actual birthday is around exams. We went to Geppetto's today in Burwood, I think it's pretty new. It seems modern-ish anyway. Check out this design. I mean, I reckon hardware tools on the wall should be a part of every dining experience to be honest. I think I see an axe up there. Wow this place would be great for a zombie apocalypse. Yea there was a bunch of pizza. Just look at all that pizza. I looked like a lost child again today with my hair going everywhere. Eternally in need of a haircut. Anyway enough about the outside world.

Recently got a CISS for my printer. CISS stands for Continuous Ink Supply System. I was tired of paying $40 for ink cartridges that run out super quickly. It's basically an ink reservoir that feeds ink continually into your cartridges so that you don't have to replace them. Instead you just refill the ink in the tank, it costs around $10 for 100ml so that's a huge. Saving considering normal ink cartridges only hold 10ml of ink. What can I say, I'm cheap. And my apple pie. So Damo asked me to make a card for his Canadian friend. Who is apparently a fan of this blog. I'm surprised people even read this haha. I decided to make a BMO card since I heard she loves Adventure Time. Happy b'day from one artist to another. Then I headed over to Damo's house to give him the card. Waiting for the bus.
