Thursday, September 28, 2006. It's More Fun to Compute. Last night, while the more tech savvy Internet nerds. Were at the WIRED Nextfest press event, I went to a book blogger panel discussion at the Housing Works Café. Four prominent journalists/bloggers - Lizzie Skurnick. Laurie Muchnick, Maud Newton, and Frank Wilson - were discussing the future, or lack there of, in newspaper and magazine book reviews versus the more fast paced and growing world of online book blogs. Anyway, the discussion went back a...

Sunday, July 30, 2006. Weekend at the Lake. The family reunion and time at the lake was just wonderful. It was so great to get away and be with family while having fun. Unfortunately I didn't bring my camera on the boat so I never got any good pictures. My mother has several, but she's in all of them and would probably disown me if she thought I put a picture of her on the internet. Have a great Monday! Hugs, love and chihuahua kisses. This is your life. Monday, May 23, 2005. I don't want to be like that - expecting. I can't help it. I don't want to write emails to friends. I don't want to go see a movie. Books I read are stale. I just can't think about anything else. The month is ending soon. A reply should come anytime now. This week. A positive email means my life will get a lot easier than it is now. A negative one means I'll get plenty of bullets to bite. Let's face it: I'm scared. Posted by Cecyl at 2:38 AM. J'ai fait un reve.

This is your life. Thursday, September 30, 2004. How degrading. I'll probably go to hell for that. Or be canonized. No way you can tell one from the other. This is the 21st Century, man. Nobody should have to bear such an ordeal. Posted by Cecyl at 3:38 AM. Tuesday, September 28, 2004. Washington Square Park at night. I can still see her smile. And the way she would let her dark hair cover her eye(s). An old rastaman showed up. When she left, he walked her to the subway. Or home. Or w...I hate to say thi...

This is your life. Saturday, June 25, 2005. This girl, her voice is hot. Usually, what I call a hot voice for a girl, is when it's not clear. I like girls who talk in a naturally low, hoarse voice. Not too hoarse. Not man hoarse. But like the day after they spent the whole night screaming at a concert. Low as in "not loud.". This girl, she gets me hard just when I see she's online and we start chatting. Whatever we're talking about, my pants is like a miniature of Pinder's big top. It seems impossible to...

This is your life. Tuesday, November 30, 2004. This is why I'm going to be late to go to work today:. My life right now, it's like this blog - directionless. Or rather, going in every direction at the same time. University. Job. Money. Entertainment (with Raph here, it's hard to live an ascetic life). GRE preparation. Reading manuscripts from time to time. Trying to fix another computer. Now Prune is gone and it's only Vanessa and me now and Vanessa is at Penn. U. doing cushion battles in high he...Poste...
