Too cold in fact and the Citiots stayed in their very warm urban enclave, only venturing to the country when a sense of frozen foreboding took hold and duty called to ensure there were no frozen pipes, the minimum heat was on and all things were sound and secure. Tractor is broken - Our old MF50's radiator rotted away. There are no replacement parts readily available for vintage tractors. Good thing dear Les Simpson - our tractor repair dude - is creative. A Citiots Guide to Homesteading - Farm and Forest Foibles. Tuesday, 9 September 2014. Summer whizzed by. The long, cool spring made for a late start and there was so much to do between work and play that Citiot E didn't get his jet ski launched until Labour Day = PATHETIC! We took the last two weeks of August off and it was one of the best vacations ever for both of us. We rested, ate well, got some great things done:. Harvest in the morning. Clean them and pick the stems off. Well witching = DIVINE!
