The Capunays: September 2013
http://thecapunays.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 27, 2013. On Monday, Sept. 23rd it was Chito's birthday! He is a quarter of a century old! So for Chito's birthday weekend we went camping. We just went up Wasatch, but it was the PERFECT weekend to go. The leaves were so beautiful! Lots of vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows. We set up camp and tested out our new pocket rocket stove with our Mountain House meals-that's my kind of cooking. Saturday morning we went fly fishing and then Chito headed off to a golf tournament with his friends.

Sunday, January 22, 2012. Well we finally have snow in Heber, just in time for my new commute to Lehi.I'll save that for a different blog post. Even though the snow creates a lot more hassle, I'm excited to finally have some snow this winter. It's been so weird without it. Chito and I celebrated the snow fall by making a snowman in our backyard. Yes I have made snowmen before, but never with this great of snow! Needless to say I was very excited. Here are some pictures of our snowman :). We stayed in Par...

The Capunays: Portland
http://thecapunays.blogspot.com/2013/10/portland.html
Friday, October 18, 2013. Wednesday night we began the car ride. We spent the night in Boise and continued on early in the morning. The puppies came with us. As we neared Portland, the scenery was unbelievable. We were able to stop at a waterfall and look around for one of our rest stops. Apparently Oregon is known for their many waterfalls. We also stopped by a vintage fair where we found so many beautiful things, if only we had room in the car. Next up was an apple orchard. We bought fresh apple ci...

The Capunays: Project: Teepee
http://thecapunays.blogspot.com/2014/11/project-teepee.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He is so nice to let me have his scrap wood, borrow his tools, and give his time to help with my projects as well. Over the summer we made a teepee! My mom is a 4th grade teacher and decided to make her theme around the curriculum-Utah! The teepee was the perfect addition to complete the classroom look. The kids love it and work hard to earn time to read their books inside. 1 hour shaping poles, 1 hour assembling everything). November 11, 2014 at 12:38 PM. It turned out great!
