Red Wine Reminiscence: June 2015
http://redwinereminiscence.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 14, 2015. Francis Coppola - 2013 Black Label Claret Cabernet Sauvignon. I'm not going to lie, I bought this wine because I liked the bottle. What is with the weird net? I didn't know, but I was entranced. I went into Cork and Barrel to try their Wine of the Week and wasn't impressed, so I moved on and selected this one instead. It had a note on the shelf with one of those wine ratings that it had a smooth finish, so I let that sway my purchase. Even though the taste of the wine was enhanced ...

Red Wine Reminiscence: August 2012
http://redwinereminiscence.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 26, 2012. White Tail Run Winery LLC. I discovered I'm ruined for sweet wines. The only selections I enjoyed were the more dry Chambourcin wines. And, surprisingly, the dry whites. The Scotch Man went home with the semi sweet red, and I, surprisingly, chose the white semi sweet Seyval. Check out the pictures at the bottom of this page: White Tail Run Winery LLC. Red Wine Reminiscence: Mirassou - 2013 Pinot Noir
http://redwinereminiscence.blogspot.com/2015/04/mirassou-2013-pinot-noir.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. Mirassou - 2013 Pinot Noir. A friend of mine got married recently. Almost a year ago now, I guess. We've lost touch, both of us absorbed in our own lives. But recently, we met at the Plaza in Kansas City with another mutual friend to talk about old times. The Mirassou. The $6 a glass wine. I was shocked. I really thought I had chosen the more expensive of the two. I'm adding this to my list of favorites. It's at an affordable price point, it's pretty complex for a Pinot Noir, ...

Red Wine Reminiscence: September 2012

Sunday, September 30, 2012. Davenport Orchards and Winery 2012. Some of you may remember my trip to Davenport Orchards and Winery. Last year the weekend I went to pick grapes. Well I went back for more again this year. And this time I dragged the Scotch Man along with me. Here we are at the vineyard! We spent about three hours picking grapes off the vine with the other volunteers and seasonal workers. Look at all the grapes we picked! After they fed us lunch (along with a complimentary glass of wine!

The Agile Badger Illustrations: Breaking the Ton.
http://theagilebadger.blogspot.com/2010/08/breaking-ton.html
Wednesday, August 11, 2010. A couple months ago, I received a call from Steve "Carpy" Carpenter. If you love motorcycles and know anything about café racing, you know who Carpy is. My problem was, when he called, I didn't—and he knew it. For the most part, cars are my thing. And though I've been fascinated by motorcycles since I was a kid, I didn't have any chops when it came to bike banter with the big boys. He'd seen my website. Rotten luck, I was booked solid for several weeks out and couldn't help him.

Monday, June 8, 2009. The Birth of a New Badger. Yes, a new badger is born: a Killer Badger. The popularity of my hot rod and muscle car illustrations. Has grown faster than I could have imagined when I started freelance work four years ago. It's become so strong that I've recently decided to split out that part of my business into its own entity. The Agile Badger Illustrations: Lawn Care with Flair
http://theagilebadger.blogspot.com/2009/03/lawn-care-with-flair.html
Friday, March 27, 2009. Lawn Care with Flair. Those good-lookin', hard-workin' boys at Fiske Brothers Yardworks in Centennial, Colorado added a new Dodge Ram pickup truck to their fleet. Co-Owner Tim Fiske asked if I would commemorate the occasion with a tee shirt design for his employees. I never thought of myself much of a truck guy, but this was a fun gig. The Dodge Rams are really tough looking, and I love the 18-wheeler-look to their hood and grille. Now back to the drawing board. Labels: Pen and Ink.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. Is a free, open-source operating system for personal computers. It kicks the pants off of Windows, if operating systems have pants, that is. If Windows did have pants, it doesn't anymore. Now it just stands around in its virtual underwear looking like a drunk and confused Peter Griffin from Family Guy with his paunch hanging over his joy toy. I just made that up. Unauthorized and possibly unwanted commentary aside, the folks who publish Ubuntu User. Posted by THE AGILE BADGER.

Friday, April 2, 2010. Killer Badger's New Flash Site. Why are illustrators and graphic designers so afraid of Flash? To wit, I submit the Killer Badger Illustration Studio Flash web site:. So you might ask, what exactly are all the prejudices of which I speak? First, I'd tell you that it's okay to end a sentence in a preposition. Then I'd enumerate each one:. Flash Prejudice No. 1:. Offers a free application download for Flash developers called SWFAddress. In Asual's words:. Flash Prejudice No. 2:.
