I have been wanting to share for sometime about a church near and dear to my heart and a woman who has stepped out in faith to engage this church in caring for orphans, locally and globally. Tina Salvador is an amazing woman from NorthPointe Community Church who I was introduced to by a mutual friend. She knew we would hit it off : we are both passionate about loving orphaned and vulnerable children! You won't believe it.

We can rebuild this city without a heart. Monday, February 16, 2009. Slowly but very surely, this city is being rebuilt. But just like a city after a disaster, the first thing to do is to get the hospitals, government buildings and other such important buildings up first. This city is no different. It started at Winter Retreat. The core began to reform. Those who had long since abandoned the youth came back and a hope grew into something tangible. I can already see it in motion.
