Saturday, August 17, 2013. We've been making progress. It's been awhile since I've sat down to document our progress. I'm just going to do a few blocks tonight, and hopefully a few more tomorrow. Sunday, July 26, 2015. July 14th Quilt Celebrations! We again had quite a few on the 14th! Ruth brought the other half of the huge rose quilt she divided into two. It's lovely, Ruth. This is her commemorative quilt from her trip to Turkey with her daughter. The fabric was found once back in the States! And a strip quilt. Connie brought a couple more Linus finishes. Nicely done, Connie! And Susy brought the quilt she finished for. Her son and future daughter-in-law. Looks great, Susy! Such fun, Jessie!

January 16-19, 2015. Arrival time: 5:00 pm Friday, January 16th. Departure: 10:00 am unless we can obtain a grace hour, which would mean 11:00 am. The departure times are critical because I need time to go through the houses and make sure everything is okay before turning in the keys. 3 nights this time. Washington House and GG's Grotto. Total cost per person: $225 which includes accommodations and food. If there is money left over, I will refund the balance to each participant in equal portions.

She was encouraged to hang onto some of these she's been doing so they can be displayed at the 2016 Quilt Show next February! Susy shared the Raffle Quilt for the Fair this year. Made from the challenge blocks from last year. Such a cute one! Then we celebrated June with our gifts of Hankie Dress Blocks! The one above is by Joan Aarts.
