From the Pit of an Olive. The newly found Journals of a crazy. Not the kind of crazy that has under gone a mind over matter conversion, but the kind thats just crazy. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Why do we Celebrate Christmas? I've asked people all over why they celebrate Christmas and I only seem to get these reasons. "Because it's a time to spend with family". I respond with BAH! Hey Johnny, Santa (A complete stranger) just gave you a toy firetruck". That is a load of garbage. It creates again a feel...

星期二, 11月 07, 2006. My housemates and I (well maybe not Bahareh) have turned procrastinating doing the recycling into a fun game. You're allowed to take any recyclable container and stack it on the windowsill above the kitchen sink. If you should cause part of the structure to fall down, you're responsible for taking that part out. The same holds true if you stack poorly and pieces tumble by themselves. So far, it works pretty good. At least, a lot better than 維斯基 on a Monday night. Tofino - one year later.

星期五, 7月 20, 2007. You won't read this on Xinhuanet. I am really happy to be out from under the 'Great Firewall' of China. I put that in quotes because it's possible to circumvent the wall, and it doesn't block everything sensitive or everything that it's designed to prevent, regardless of using proxies or not. Anyway, I was reading wikinews and started across this story. Posted by K at 9:56:00 上午. LQTM - the new LOL. Another Xinhua news gem. Tofino - one year later. The Nigerians are at it again.

星期三, 4月 27, 2005. Speaking of media I put a bunch of Chinese songs on my iPod. Also, I got an audiobook called "Free Culture." It's pretty interesting and I like the listening to someone else read while I rest my eyes. Too much ambient noise can irk me though. Posted by K at 7:13:00 上午. 星期六, 4月 23, 2005. Why this post has lots of pictures. On a darker note, if you like pictures you can also click here. Also, you might check out the (only remotely related) Best Page in the Universe. 星期一, 11月 29, 2004. Making it badass with bacon. To any readers I might possibly have out there who prefer not to eat meat for whatever reasons, I apologize in advance. But I recently had my most successful cooking experience since eggbread (a relative show of finesse compared to the fried rice)- that's right, I, Kevin Dobson, cooked something not using a breadmaker that is kind of good-tasting. Behold:. Also, check out the hardcore links I made for Alleah. S blog. what do y'all think? 星期日, 11月 28, 2004.

星期日, 6月 10, 2007. XI'AN, June 10 (Xinhua) - Archaeologists have unearthed four colored tomb figures in a tomb in northwest China's Shaanxi Province dating back to the Zhou Dynasty (1046 BC-221 BC). The four colored wooden tomb figures, about 80 centimeters tall, are believed to be at least 500 years older than that of the terracotta warriors and horses of Qin Dynasty (221 BC - 206 BC), said Yin Shenping, a researcher with the provincial archeological institute. For that one; when it's not the mouthpiece ...

From the Pit of an Olive. The newly found Journals of a crazy. Not the kind of crazy that has under gone a mind over matter conversion, but the kind thats just crazy. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Thats pretty much what I do. I can't wait until december when I will be off school and I don't have to worry about studying. I'm keeping this short, cause even though I don't really post very much, I don't have to much to write about these days. Mainly because of school and work. Look out Dean's list, here I come!

星期三, 8月 30, 2006. Tofino - one year later. Went to Tofino the other day to visit Meagan, and it was. Brad, Cam and Dave came along for the ride. Parts of the highway between Port Alberni and Tofino were remarkably shitty. I had a really sweet jam session too. Anyway, this summer I got a job at Zellers, then quit and worked at Sears. Brad did pretty much the same thing. I am moving to Victoria. This means those of you who owe me money don't have long to pay up. You know who you are!
