Saturday, February 1, 2014. Pictures from Feb. 1, 2014. Most of these pictures were taken around my yard. It is such a beautiful day today! This is Mrs. Redinger's house across the street from us.. Stephen noticed that there was a spider web underneath the birdhouse. Around the corner from our house is this view of Moscow.. The snowy park near our house.. The rest of these pictures were taken about a mile from our house. Just outside the city limits.. February 1, 2014 at 2:57 PM. I love these photos.

Adventures and Pursuits: June 2011
http://adventuresandpursuits.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 11, 2011. Go Fish for Breakfast. It is finally summer here. The weather isn't summer yet, it's still in spring mode. But school is out and we are free! Yes, even me. I LOVE not having to nag everyone in the mornings to get ready and out the door on time. Oh yes, I am FREE! Unfortunately, we were all out of milk this morning. Since they were already digging through their cereal, they decided to make a real game of it. Go Fish! Hey, Little Man, do you have any greens? Monday, June 6, 2011.

http://adventuresandpursuits.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 10, 2014. Update on my Biking Adventures. Well, we are still at it. YES! I am so glad that I wrote about my early biking experiences. Reading them now, after 4 months, shows me that I really have improved a lot and am stronger and braver than I was 4 months ago. I really need to keep writing about all of this! I'm so thankful all those guys were willing to put up with me! When we finished we felt like we could have kept going! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful ride! But we did join ...

Adventures and Pursuits: Goodbye you Great Big Chicken!
http://adventuresandpursuits.blogspot.com/2014/06/goodbye-you-great-big-chicken.html
Sunday, June 22, 2014. Goodbye you Great Big Chicken! I have always thought of myself as the biggest chicken in the world. If not the biggest, then pretty darn close. You see, I am afraid of just about everything. Heights, the dark, animals, WATER! There are just so many things to be afraid of! The one nice side to all of this is that I have a dear friend who is also afraid of everything. We are afraid together! But, that is going to change. In fact it has already begun to change. We did it and we lived!

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Mountain Biking Days 3 and 4. I went biking with James last night. Just the two of us. He has been wanting to see where we bike and just what kind of trail it is. He really enjoyed the trail. It is still slow going for me. We have to bike up the road for half a mile, maybe a mile. I really don't know. I'm a terrible judge of distance. Anyway, that ride up is hard for me. I end up walking part of the time when I just can't pedal anymore. But I do expect that will change! I am act...

St. Louis Folk Victorian: Modernized D9P
http://www.stlouisfolkvictorian.com/2012/07/modernized-d9p.html
Sunday, July 1, 2012. Today, I'm going to show you the process that I used to make a "Modernized D9P" or Disappearing Nine Patch. Each quilters results will vary depending upon the Block Layouts. They choose; but this Ride-Along will help guide you along the way. If you are unfamiliar with the Disappearing Nine Patch, one quick Google search. The block is fairly simple in that you are sewing 9 squares of fabric together and then quartering them. What makes this "Modernized D9P" different is two things.

Adventures and Pursuits: Biking - week 3
http://adventuresandpursuits.blogspot.com/2014/07/biking-week-3.html
Saturday, July 12, 2014. Biking - week 3. This was a hard biking week for me. Sort of. I feel like I learned and experienced some important things. Monday was ok. I felt a little sluggish after the weekend and a couple of late nights. But I rode down a spot that I had only walked down before and didn't crash and that felt really good! We learned about the best way to start our days. 1 Positive "I am" statements and gratitude. 3 Pray - less of the "Help, I'm in trouble" and more open, two-way communication.
