Ahh, fuck it, its Friday and after the brutal circuits class last night I deserve a bit of a rest day. I still did my physio exercises for my knee - as am feeling like an elderly lady with joints that get achy in the cold weather. Reboot in 24 hours, now powering down. Plank duration: barely registered. Aching muscles: all of them! 24 January 2015 at 18:11. Run like you stole it.

I made unrealistic plans in my head of actually going out for a run later on today but a combination of the on-coming rain and wind and the prospects of a cosy sofa meant this never happened. Look on it as a rest weekend after a couple of tough gym classes and a few more scheduled in for next week. :). Now, back to the sofa-lounging. Day 27: Plank PB!

So yeah, a bit late but still within the 24 hour window. It was a bit of a crap one anyway. No time for proper exercise but instead I did some walking and my first ever club bass box press up. Didn't go to the gym as we were going to see Birdman at the cinema instead - I hightly recommend this, it was brilliant. Bass box pressups: 2.

It got so bad that whilst running up a steep hill I refused to stop and walk while there were cars passing me, which led to me getting a stitch by the time I reached the top. I don't think all this freezing air is helping me either. Only time for the short 'estate' loop this evening due to being unable to do a longer run at lunchtime because of stupid meetings.

Despite having 4 events lined up for the year, the first being in April, a combination of bad weather keeping me in and an unfortunate predisposition to be in hibernation mode over winter has led to me being a bit lackadaisical in my approach to my exercise regime.
