Learning to Play Together. Douglas has never been especially social, so his recent desire to play one on one with Dottie has been really pleasing to watch. Considering how much he did not like her when she came home from the hospital, I wasn't sure this day would ever come! Making faces in the bathroom mirror. Opening and shutting windows. Drum circle in the living room. Notice the haircut? In case you don't believe me that he didn't used to like her. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Learning to Play Together.

The Oregonians: Ode to Jim Veal

Random thoughts about whatever interests us. Memorable moments from movies. My earliest memory of going to a movie was being carried out of the theatre over my Dads shoulder because I was scared. I also . In Memory of the Girl Next Door. This is the cover of the photo album I had made while I was in the navy. The cover is leather; the decorations were burned onto it. Y. I have absolutely no idea how this supposedly improved blog page works. Why cant they leave things alone? Always trying to . Go back t...

The Brawn Family: October 2011

Sunday, October 23, 2011. Should I be playing him classical music? Does he get enough tummy time? Should he be sleeping more or less? Why is he rolling over in his crib? I know deep down inside that I am doing God's work. I know that my motherhood is an eternal partnership with Him . There is nothing more important in this world than participating so directly in the work and glory of God.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). December 19th, 2008. December 19th, 2008. On Christmas Eve we spent time with the Brian and Kendra McMullin and the Tom and Kellie Bogardus families. The food, mediterranean cuisine, was fantastic, and the kids had such a blast. For the live nativity, Douglas was a shepherd and Dottie was the angel. Angel with a Plug. Missing from this scene is the cat, Cooper, as baby Jesus. The shepherd spent a lot of time putting Linus into an SUV. The grumpy angel wasn't too interested. Timer family pictures are epic. While he "helped" her open it. There are...

The Brawn Family: Happy First Birthday, Marshall!
http://willandpeggy.blogspot.com/2012/07/happy-first-birthday-marshall.html
Thursday, July 5, 2012. Happy First Birthday, Marshall! Last Saturday we had a party to celebrate this little boy turning ONE! We are so grateful to those that could join us! Here is a photo overload of the festivities. Here are just a few of our little friends that could make it. Sadly, we didn't get photos of everyone . sorry to those not pictured! This little boy had a great time turning ONE! He was thoroughly exhausted, and slept for almost 14 hours post-party! We love you Marshall!
