Tuesday, August 24, 2010. I still have so much to catch up on! Here is a quick run-down of the last month or so:. Lauryn turned 8. She, of course, was excited beyond anything - I am still trying to figure out how she got that old so fast. She said that 'all her birthday wishes came true' - thanks to the Zhu Zhu pet, and getting her ears pierced. I think she was pleased with how her birthday turned out. I had to throw this picture in because it shows all Tay's little chubby rolls. Oh, how I love them!

This picture actually cracks me up - Cam was only pretending to be asleep and Tay really looks like he is about to fall off his lap! The timing on that shot was perfect! But there was no time for napping because May was busy, busy. And she was in the special swan dance. She did great, and of course talked about it for days after. I guess everyone there should be glad that I was released too! He was a good sport about...

Thursday, September 11, 2008. My favorite family vacations growing up were our week long trips to Lake Powell and I have always wanted to take Cameron and the girls there. Only one problem: we don't have a boat and without one, Powell would totally stink. Well, thankfully, my sister and her family (who have a boat) invited us to spend the weekend with them there. . 160;I was so proud of them both for trying something new (and kind of scary! 160;We all loved it! Thursday, October 23, 2008. I am finally ready to talk about it. . Cameron and I took a trip to Mexico a little over a month ago, and I am just now ready to revisit some of those memories. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time during the first part of the week, but the last part was a different story. This is a family blog, so lets just say we picked up an authentic, free, Mexican souvenir. And we are not talking about a giant sombrero. One day we took a day trip out to a little island called Isla.
