Sunday, February 26, 2012. Township on the way to Aquila. Relaxing by the pool before we were allowed in our room. They served us food, buffet style which was delicious! Evening game drive - Chris had the back of the truck all to himself. We saw lots of zebra. Eland - they are big! Can you find the elephant? The hippos weren't very accommodating. They liked the water. Cape Buffalo - these guys are mean. This one charged the truck as we were in his path. Our chalet and car.

Sunday, September 16, 2012. We couldn't be more proud of our swim team kids this year. Derek especially took to the water and practiced with all his might. He practiced hard all season to make it the length of the pool without any assistance. On his very last heat of the season, he made his goal of getting a red, white and blue ribbon which is a "Heat Ribbon Winner! AND he did it without any help. He was so excited and we were so proud of him for working hard to accomplish a goal!

Tuesday, May 22, 2012. We have been looking for a boat off and on for a while now. Chris mentioned to me this weekend that he found one he liked and I had forgotten that he was even looking! Next thing you know, I texted the seller and we had an appointment to look at the boat the next day. Short story short, we bought a boat! And took it for our first spin this evening! The kids hadn't ridden in a ski boat since they were little. He looks like he belongs behind that wheel! Oh, I am sooo envious!

Saturday, October 27, 2012. A Color Me RAD kind of day! We have anticipated this 5k race for a couple of months now. In fact it was on my mind so much I almost forgot to pick up our race packets! The kids and I had gone out to eat and we were sitting there when I realized we hadn't gone to pick up our stuff! Derek put his tattoo on his leg. Ginger pre race. It was a little chilly. Derek was so excited he could hardly stand it! He decided to run last minute. Mason all jazzed up. Mason's tattoo on his neck.
