Upcoming Events and Activities. Free Summer Sundays at The Colonel Palmer House. Travel back in time with each of our free Summer Sunday special events. Our costumed staff will share plenty of displays and provide hands-on experiences. Each Summer Sunday is from 1PM-4PM on the lawn of the Colonel Palmer House. Visit inside the Palmer House and see how it has been restored to its 1800s glory. June 5 - Be Social (1PM-4PM). July 17 - Chautauqua of 1916 (1PM-4PM). August 7 - Pioneer Days (1PM-4PM).
