Artist Claffy, Eleanor Claflin Williams, followed her lifelong passion for art and painting in particular. Inspired by nature, palettes of color, transparent shapes, geometric forms, and spatial relationships, her painting progressed from realistic watercolors to acrylic abstract expressionism by blending Eastern simplicity and Western abstraction. Capping this work, Claffy launched into a printing process called monoprinting, where no two prints are absolutely identical.
