The art of composition. The diagonal is a fairly simple and obvious concept: it is the line connecting diametrically opposed corners of the frame. Now, it must be noted that diagonals don’t always need to be perfect corner-to corner, nor always perfectly straight; it just so happens that of the samples selected, those are the dominant properties.
