I’m an adult. July 19, 2013. After I pick the kids up in the afternoon Claire and I have interesting conversations. This one came out of the blue. Claire: I’m an adult. Me: How’s that? C: Isaac is a baby and I’m older than him, so I’m an adult. M: What about kids? Aren’t you a kid? C: No, there are babies, toddlers, and kids. Kids are 4 and younger. I’m 4 1/2 so that’s an adult. Researching public spaces…. May 15, 2012. I polled people on their interactions, the overwhelming conclusions being that dog walkers have it made in terms of having their interactions facilitated. They’re the main strangers talking, followed by people giving each other compliments. The things that people here wanted were shows in the parks for their kids, clean parks, outdoor markets, and the skating rink from a few winters before to come back, and an overwhelming need for safety.
