I started my Whole30 less than two weeks ago and I can't really tell how it has been going. Food-wise, I am happy with what I eat, but the bills seem to add up and I am definitely spending more than before (eating out included). I also tend to eat A LOT. Eating meat is supposed to satisfy you, and I probably eat more meat than recommended, but I still end up eating a ton of food, which lead to more meals to prepare, which lead to more grocery expenses. Looking at everything that is rescrited on the Whole30 might make you feel like eating is becoming a burden. I just came back from a potluck today, and did not eat any food : salad with ranch dressing and croutons, pizza, different pies, all of those right in front of me. And I could not have any! I mentioned in my previous article that I might have to do a restart because of my little escape to Baltimore. The first two days were fine, I had one roti (wheat), went to Chipotle (beans), some momos (Nepali dumblings) so yes I did step out of the game, but I didn't feel too bad about it. Little did I know. Turns out I did not feel great after eating all of this sugar, but I still kept eating it. I ended up eating some leftover pumpkin pie at 2am while watching Gilmore Girls. Great job.
