Sunday, 10 March 2013. When I made this cushion I wanted to try out a new polyester wadding that was slightly thicker than the cotton or cotton/bamboo wadding I normally use. Whilst I think it works on this cushion, I think it would be too thick for a quilt. I used a pastel coloured variegated thread on a patterned white fabric - although the pattern hasn't come out in the photo. Friday, 11 January 2013. The quilt was entirely machine pieced and also, due to time constraints, was also machine quilted.
