Brainwashing myself with Action Movies. Blade Runner – Harrison Ford, Ridley Scott. The outside stalls where you can just eat noodles and order all sorts of side junk to go with it. Then the possiblity of travelling around in hover crafts or go shopping for synthetic, artificial pets which don’t seem to require any maintenance at all. Let’s face it, that’s why the Aibo was so popular in the first place. A very re-watchable movie. Will buy to add to growing collection. By clairestevens on February 27, 2009.

Brainwashing myself with Action Movies. Escape from Alcatraz – Clint Eastwood. Normally I would blast my brain with action movies to dull my mind. This time however, I happened to come across a Clint Eastwood DVD. It’s Escape from Alcatraz! The movie was pretty good. No action, no special effects and nothing to do with science fiction. But it’s one of those movies that was set in the 70’s which feature sumptuous sounds. Reminds of the movie All the President’s Men. By clairestevens on April 1, 2009.

Brainwashing myself with Action Movies. UltraViolet – Milla Jovovich. Multi colored. Lots of action. Lots of techno graphics flying about the place. It’s a futuristic vampire movie that was just goofy enough to satisfy my eyes and not switch on my brain. The actors except Milla Jovovich were pleasantly forgettable. Even the boy she had to drag along with was free from irritation. The number of people getting slaughtered without any bloodshed was pretty refreshing. By clairestevens on March 3, 2009.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. It’s a Kindle Killer. March 23, 2009. Japan has launched another eReader. This time it’s from Fujitsu and it’s in color. 2 really peaked my interest in books. I must thank Amazon for that. But the hardware was a little underwhelming and although the e-ink is easy on the eye, the price put me off. But it seems that everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon. Although it has a nice color screen, sometime when I get lost in a book, I really appreciate the monochrome color.
