Wednesday, 22 October 2014. Today dear reader was my last day off my mini break from work, time has flown so fast. Back to the normal routine tomorrow. Went to see the Lion King musical in Sunderland today, having not seen the stage production before. I have no idea why. I remember when I was little going to see the film in the cinema but needed to go to the toilet so consequently I missed one of the most vital parts to the story, Simba growing up. Friday, 31 October 2014. All good things must come to an end. Happy Halloween dear reader. I missed the trick or treaters for the first time in years by being taken out for a meal tonight, to be honest I don’t think we would have got many this year anyway. It is nice sometimes to have a break from normal routine. That said I have enjoyed the experience and glad I took part, proud of myself and proved I can do it who would have thought this time last year that I would take part. Start spreading the news.

Sunday, 19 October 2014. All the leaves are brown. Autumn is most certainly in the air. Had an early start this morning, with a train journey to London, got some work done on the train which made me happier now that I got it started. Sat next to a couple from the USA who have been visiting Edinburgh and the North East. The train journey soon passed and arrived in London and got the DLR to Greenwich where we are staying. Lovely hotel and we got a cheap deal for it. Really not sure how to drive in ice/snow.

This news has been so long awaited and hopefully it proves successful enough to become a permanent rather than seasonal route. Phantom Of The Opera. City tours by day and night.

The day started with a trip to the Olympic park and up to the top of ArcelorMittal Orbit which i first went up 2 years ago during olympics but it was more restricted due to higher numbers visiting last time. And this time we could stay longer up there and had option of coming down lift or stairs something i had no choice over last time due to numbers visiting. To finish off our last full day in London off to see Kerry Ellis as Elphaba in Wicked. Defying Gravity. So where was I.
