Children learn more quickly if taught in small groups, so all the junior groups have a maximum of four swimmers. Each group has the 15 metre pool to themselves for the duration of the lesson, this means there is more room to swim and far fewer distractions, therefore the children are assured quality and efficient learning.

The pool is a privately owned facility, which is only used by Clare Swimming it is not open to the public and is not hired out to other groups. The swimming pool is 15m x 5m and heated to a temperature of 29.6c . There is a viewing area for parents so that they can observe lessons.

There are four levels, Junior 1, Junior 2 and Senior and Pre Club. Complete beginners, requiring arm bands. Can swim without armbands, has swam a length of the pool and is developing backstroke, breaststroke and front crawl, beginning to dive.

The quiet calm environment and one to one attention are always helpful when teaching a child who would have difficulty within a group lesson. The steps leading into the pool have a bar designed to aid entry of those with disabilities.

This is the first time I've seen a 1 in front of my weight in almost 6 years! I'm still using Weight Watchers, but I started the hcg diet a few weeks ago to give me a jump start for our trip in March to Turks and Caicos! I started the hcg at 218 and today the scale hit 199! Clare Swimming is a private swim school in Full Sutton, East Yorkshire, serving both East and North Yorkshire. There are both small group sessions for children (maximum of 4 children in the beginners classes) and individual sessions. The lessons take place in 10 week terms and the cost of junior child lessons are £79 per term.
