Lay of the Land 2016. Flax, beeswax and egg yolks 2015. All the things no longer remembered 2014-15. Wrapped debris and beach fashion 2011-14. Repair stitches and rough edges are left in place as evidence of both past history and making in some pieces. In others the marks build up until they obscure themselves. I pay attention to the things that are overlooked, forgotten or lost. My practice is based on observation, immersing myself in place and engaging with memory.
