Claring It Up: December 2009
http://claringitup.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tellin' it like it should be. Hitting the Reset Button. Since I've started on this part time school endeavor, I have realized that I have a lot more time than I thought. I spend a lot of it watching television and sleeping, but I also spend a lot of time at work and at school. Somewhere in there I also study, clean house, commute, socialize, and brush my teeth. What, Exactly, Are You Trying To Do? Don't have end goals. They have no idea. What the big picture, long term goal is. They may have little g...
Claring It Up: What's Next?
http://claringitup.blogspot.com/2009/12/whats-next.html
Tellin' it like it should be. I am almost finished with my first quarter of school. I have had the pleasure of meeting quite a few very interesting people in the last few months. Over the course of that time, I have spoken to most of them about what they do for work at the present time, but I have had very few conversations about what my peers are going to be doing once they are finished with school. What's next, then? What do you want to be doing? Clare - great post! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tellin' it like it should be. Archaic Office Tools: The Rolodex and Business Cards. As much as I like the idea of keeping these cards neatly filed in the Rolodex, it's an archaic way to keep up with contacts. I have my Outlook contact list, and several spreadsheets full of contact information along with multiple contact lists saved on company shared space on the internet and on network drives. So, do I need my Rolodex? No, of course not. But.I. Does anyone manage to go completely business card free?

Tellin' it like it should be. Little Things That Matter Big Time. Alternate Title: Do Sweat the Small Stuff, wherein the author complains a lot about little things. Out there to help you schedule your madness. I live in Chicago, so my hands are cold a lot. I also shake hands with new people pretty regularly. Guess what? I warn them that my hands are cold every time. There is absolutely nothing more off-putting than meeting someone, shaking hands, and encountering a moist, cold, fishlike thing. Least If y...

Tellin' it like it should be. Not a single window or skylight anywhere in your building? I imagine that everyone that works there is blind, but they have evolved extra-sensitive mole-like whiskers. The upside is that they can work 24 hours a day and never notice the difference. I can't believe it's almost March. Holy crap, where is this year going? It was unspeakably awesome to hang Leslie and Cara for the first time together since.2003? Did we really wait five years for that? What is wrong with us?

The Ezell tree of fun and food: January 2010
http://leezellblog.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Saturday, January 16, 2010. Saudi Arabia, Part Two - Saudi Harder. Yes, sports fans, it's been a bit longer than I had hoped between updates on this trip. Why? Well, this has been the most challenging program I've worked in a very long time, if not ever. But enough about that, let's chat about some more stuff I found interesting. But I've never seen their burned out wreck of a car in real life until today. And my god, the driving! Yep, it's been a while&...

The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Hutch and I went to the fabric store a couple days ago shopping for classroom curtain fabric. He spied some WALL*E fabric so I bought 1/2 yard not knowing what exactly we'd do with it. I found a remnant of iridescent pink for Maggie. What better to make than CAPES? Monday, July 21, 2008. However, the Britax Marathon system of belts is nothing short of a Mensa challenge. Trusty (and brainy) Lee put all the pieces back togethe...

The Ezell tree of fun and food: Great expectations

The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Saturday, January 22, 2011. If you never watched it, you truly are missing out. Carl was able to bring the universe to your little 27" RCA TV, and I was absolutely riveted. Week after week, I watched in rapt attention as he and his turtleneck told me of the "billions and billions" of stars in our universe. A last perfect day". The day after which everything went downhill? The last day you truly knew happiness? Other times, there's a day when I feel like ...

The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Monday, September 15, 2008. I has a bucket, part deux. I has a bucket. Maggie has begun her flower girl training. We plan to not allow her to cram her mouth full of biscuit before heading down the aisle in addition to avoiding the European dark socks/dark shoes look. Hey, this is just the first day. Monday, September 01, 2008. I Yike Chocat" 2. Happy 2nd Birthday, Maggie! Birthday pic. per Greenie's request! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I has a bucket.

The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Friday, November 28, 2008. Thanksgiving at the Beach. Here's a little collage of our Thanksgiving fun on St. George Island. The weather has been beautiful and the food has been plentiful! Hutch and Maggie are going to hang out and keep Greenie and Greendaddy company for a couple extra days! Can't wait to see what that collage might look like. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Maggie LOVES chocolate cake! Tuesday, November 04, 2008. Just one year earlier!

http://leezellblog.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
The Ezell tree of fun and food. I'm a lucky devil! Tuesday, August 12, 2008. I scanned a bunch of school picture to print and display in my classroom - here's the first installment on the blog! Wednesday, August 06, 2008. It turns out that Hutch is the reincarnation of Freddie Mercury. He pranced, strutted, and posed all about the room, butt naked, while both he and Maggie tonelessly chanted this decades-old anthem of gay pride. I couldn't be prouder! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Long from Now and Far Away: February 2006
http://maegulator.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Long from Now and Far Away. By the Maegulator, aka the less-than-Intermittent Blogger. Saturday, February 18, 2006. What's in a name? There's a song by kids' artist Rick Charette. That starts, "I hate my name, oh I hate my name. I'm gonna throw it in the Atlantic Ocean. I hate my name, I hate my name. I'm gonna throw it away.". Crazy names in Psychology research. Nelson Butters, you gotta love that one. Wang, Fan, and Johnson authored an article I'm using for my thesis. Or lost a bet? You just can't argu...

Long from Now and Far Away. By the Maegulator, aka the less-than-Intermittent Blogger. Tuesday, October 31, 2006. I hate Halloween. Not because it's the "devil's birthday," as some Texans say, but because of the whole costume thing. I'm not seven anymore, so Laura Ingalls isn't gonna cut it. I'm not in college, so sleazy librarian and fallen angel are out. What's left? I could be a. Posted by Maegan and Kayo. Sunday, October 29, 2006.
