Northwest Coast Tradition and Culture. The Spiritual Life of Weaving. Copper Child is Lily’s first Ravenstail ensemble, which took many years to complete. The robe, apron, and headdress all share the same original design by Lily, called Shaman Eyes, a modification of the popular lightening pattern. The Shaman Eyes pattern is published in the Ravenstail Guild’s book of designs, available through www.nwcoastweaverssupply.com. The tunic piece was woven by Clarissa Rizal, Lily’s teacher and mother.
