Sunday, June 28, 2015. After many months and much labor, we proudly present our (almost) finished redone landscaping! We just need to find and plant a crepe myrtle by the garage. The variety originally suggested was nowhere to be found, and I haven't gotten around to calling nurseries to ask about the new suggestions. And since the landscaping has been complete for over a month, it's blooming now! So these after pics are prettier than they would have been a month ago. Procrastination wins again. Cat'...

Thursday, November 27, 2014. I can't believe we have a 1.5 year old! New words are becoming harder to track! Here are the ones I can think of: hook, chip, horsie (see! Thank, end, done, kick, kite, go, help (although he sometimes says hot or hop instead), beep, hop, pooh (he has a stuffed Winnie the Pooh), acorn (cor), sock, stack, switch, sack, cheese, fry, seat, fire, phone, pillow, rock. New signs: thank you, all done (he has done this one on and off, but it seems consistent now! 7:00 - up for the day!

Saturday, December 27, 2014. Sorry for the bad picture; this was as good as it got tonight! 18 months and 24 months. He has many new words- too many for me to keep track of! He has learned to sign sorry, and we have one new tooth (lower canine). We are almost done teething. woo hoo! He has also learned how to go downstairs without any help. And he can now tiptoe! Examples: Go inside, Hey cat! Kick tv (said with only t). He can also identify the color blue most of the time. Book and short movie on Netflix.

Tuesday, January 27, 2015. We have a new background this time. J wasn't home for the picture, plus this is just way. Easier. I think I like it better anyway. He was on the move, so this is the best we could capture! 18 months and 24 months. Coop is picking up words like crazy. He is still using mainly monosyllabic words and a few two word sentences. Saturday, September 27, 2014. 12 months and 18 months- 12 months in separates, 18 months in onesies and jumpers. We are getting close to 24 months though, and I have put up several 12 months things and even some small 18 month ones! Cooper is running around like crazy! When you take away something he was playing with, mommy or daddy leaving him, when he wants something to eat he can't have, riding the in car, "No", not being able to go outside, food with tomatoes, having a poopy diaper, eating noodles.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. Here's what we've been up to lately:. Cooper kisses Daddy bye bye in the morning. A trip to Kentucky so J could play in a golf tournament. Playing with Dub Dub's sunglasses while mommy is furniture shopping. Splash Pad at Dub Dub and OG's. I made the leap and finally got a food processor. My first thing to make: Black Bean Brownies. And they were seriously good! I will be making them again. Yummy goodness. Poor J didn't get to eat many. Blue sky and white clouds. Ready for rise #1.

Besides a meltdown in the museum over no paper towels in the bathroom, Cooper did pretty well! Well, and a fit when he had to get out of the airplane. Friday, March 27, 2015. Cooper is 22 months old! Today also marks being in our house for one year! Clothes: 12 months and 18 months for shorts, 24 months and 2T for shirts.
