Don't look surprised, you were never normal.: July 2014

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Monday, July 28, 2014. My first garden was in the Ward plot, graciously volunteered by a 5 min walk from my condo. It was was a decent mixture of success and failure, but plenty encouraging. Infact, there are things that worked really well there in the depleted soil that didn’t work well in the future attempts (squash, chard, etc) . Herbs were a dandy failure. Here’s a link to it. Oh, and more. Starting to ...

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. I keep meaning to post pictures of our house (so boring watching someone else’s house get built), but it keeps changing. I feel like these guys are going way fast and will have it done well before their promise-by date. View from corner toward back yard neighbors. The three houses on our street/block (room for fruit trees! Backside of our house. View from living room. One advanta...

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Wednesday, November 05, 2014. My flash was a bit overwhelming. One day, this will be the cover for their first (and possibly last) indie label album. Cuddles Knievel only cries with 100% conviction. Cuddles Knievel looking a little risqué (that’s french for trashy, right? With his wide neck hand-me-down slipping off his shoulder. Left) Cuddles Knievel looks like he’s doing a Napoleon face or something.

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Tuesday, January 06, 2015. Late Christmas Eve when the boys were in bed (so, like 7:30pm), I brought our Christmas Tree in from the porch (where I was keeping it safe from the boys) and the presents up from the basement where I was sure that the boys wouldn’t unwrap anything. Naturally, Cuddles Knevel proved that Unwrapping is not yet a temptation. Though she is plenty happy with her own toys too.

Something new for me: October 2006
http://ilikehorchata.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Something new for me. I'm just a girl. and a wife. and a mom. and a daughter. and a sister. and a friend. etc. This is my blog! Thursday, October 12, 2006. So, I've wanted to start a blog for a long time now, but it seems whenever I decide to go ahead and get started, the prospect of writing my first blog entry proves too intimidating and I freeze! Well, no longer my friends. Today is the day I take that first step. And my first entry is about my adorable little family. Posted by Tiffany @ 9:39 AM. My Bo...

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Friday, August 23, 2013. You know Brett, you don't have to make a show of it, you can just fart without leaning or scrunching your face.". Well, there is nothing like a newborn lifting their buttocks, leg, or twisting in a strange stretch just to let one rip and prove to you that boys can't help it. It's either innate, or genetic. Seriously. Even at a week old the changing table was the bees knees. As a chi...

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. First off, a house. It’s pretty. Details you don’t care about! I can’t help it! Brett wanted craftsman exterior. I was pulling for the cheeper stucco because I generally hate siding. Brett says that’s cause most builders use a cheep aluminum siding that cost less than the stucco. The door is going to be a sea-ish blue green grey. Brett has his doubts. They change how things look!

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Saturday, June 14, 2014. Instead of a cake smash photo session, I was going to try to do photos with the foods they can have after one year. Unfortunately, O did this pretty much the entire time:. And why wouldn't he? I mean, his straw was TOO BIG and the milk came TOO FAST, and it was TERRIFYING. People think I’m mean when I say that O has an UGLY CRY. Here was our best attempt. It was looking promising.

Don't look surprised, you were never normal. The not so enlightening thoughts of a very pale girl. Wednesday, November 05, 2014. Halloween, take 1. First off, photographing your own kids sucks. I thought it would be easy to get some photos with Brett’s help, but it’s not. It’s about the same either way. You still need two to child wrangle and someone else to take photos. Anyhow, I got some individuals as they ran around. Brett catches those priceless moments of my buttocks. I only had to put them by the ...
