Saturday, 28 June 2014. Visit to St Magnus Cathedral. We have been reading stories from the Bible and learning about the different ways Jesus helped people. On Friday we went to St Magnus Cathedral to look at the beautiful stained glass windows and look to see if they told us a 'story'. I wonder what we found out? Here are some photos of our class assembly. We shared what we have learned about the Commonwealth and the Commonwealth Games. It was lovely to see so many people there. Sunday, 22 June 2014.

Class 2-3 @ PS 229. Official blog of Class 2-3, PS 229, Woodside, New York. Second to Last Day…. We finished strong, and even managed to fit in a short film! We learned how to write sonnets (although I don’t think Shakespeare has anything to worry about, from myself included). It was a challenge, but why not! Now they know the rhyme pattern, and general structure. (However: iambic pentameter…we’ll save that for another day.). Last post, coming up tomorrow! Homework 6/25/12 - suggested. 1 page of Haikus.
